Perfect Everyday Black Flat

"I’ll be honest I bought a pair of Rothy’s years ago when the first came out. I loved they could be washed and the soles lasted forever, but my feet completely rejected wearing them. This insert texture irritated the bottom of my feet. And my feet would swell up. Years later this new arch support insert is a game changer. My feet are happy, and comfortable. Only wish they would sell this new insert as replacement for all my other shoes"

Cute but wish these came in wider sizes

"These flats are cute and go with a lot of my clothing but seem to run a bit smaller so I would suggest purchasing a slightly bigger size. The shoes are comfortable part of the day but toward the end of the day my feet started to hurt because the shoes are narrow around the tie box and sides. I wish these were available in wider sizes."

I was hopeful….

"I was very much looking forward to these shoes because I have heard from friends how much they love them. After one day of wearing them I have blisters on both heels. For such simple shoes that cost over $100 I would have expected the upper material to be more giving, not so stiff, and for the heel top to have padding. One day of wear for $100, not good value in my mind."

"These shoes are so comfortable…and they can be washed in the washer!!! The lady at the store showed me how you take the insole out and wash them separately and then air dry!! Get so many complements on these! But the comfort and wash ability are the best things about these shoes!! Cuteness is a close second!!"

Comfy enough but miss the Originals

"First time ever a pair of Rothys have given me a blister. Also the first time I’ve ordered the Daily Flat. I have 6 pairs of Point 1 shoes - the Point 2 is just not the same. So ordered these hoping I’d love them as much as the original points, and I would have had they not given me a blister. They fit true to size, so not sure how/why they gave me a blister."

Bring back the original flat

"The new flats are such a strange shape and fit. I ordered the same size as my old flats and they were so big they just fell off my feet when I tried to walk. I returned those and ordered a half size down, and now that size crushes the tip of my big toe. I also don’t know why they changed the cut on top. It is way less cute and makes my feet look bigger"

"I have other pairs of Rothy’s which are so comfortable and don’t even require a break in period, but this pair specifically with the new sole is so uncomfortable! It’s the only pair of Rothy’s that’s given me blisters and left my feet hurting after wearing, even when hardly walking. I’m usually not the type to leave negative reviews but I feel betrayed because I love my other pairs lol"

Bring back the original daily flat

"These are fine, but so much more stiff and thus less comfortable than the prior construction of this shoe. I wish I hadn’t recycled my old pair (even though it was showing its age!). The sizing is different now and again just not as comfortable. I get blisters from wearing these and I’ve never had that issue in Rothy’s before."

So sad over these shoes

"I absolutely loved my previous pairs of Rothy’s and was always telling people about them! I must have 6 pairs and have repurchased the black flat multiple times. This is the first time they’ve given me blisters, and I find the new toe design very unflattering for my feet. I’m so sad I’ll have to find a new brand of flats and points to use. I’m also pretty disappointed with the insole and how it feels on my feet after wearing the shoes for a while"
